Time is of the essence..


No on would think that all it took was time for things to collapse like dominos. Akatsuki attacked sieged Konoha, and tore through most of the resistance. Through the night, Konoha burned, or for awhile it did. Then, a blur flew threw the skies and Gamabunta landed in Konoha, and Akatsuki, along with Hawk, turned and they all looked on as there, on Gamabunta, stood the 17 year old Uzumaki Naruto, in his clothing to battle Akatsuki.



His grin covered his lips and his only words, "I'm home." and thats when the Kyuubi Jinchurcki suprised everyone, as Kisame and Zetsu took on Naruto first, and Kisame was met by a fist, and Zetsu was met by fire. Naruto threw the two into each other and when he stood fully, the wind shifted in his gaze. Pein and Naruto stared at each other, and the battle raged for hours, and to every inch of his own power, he, along with Haruno Sakura, Tsunade, and other shinobi threw the Akatsuki out, and defeated them.

But the battles were not over, as Naruto and Sasuke finally went at it, taking it to the Valley of the End. Lightning and wind tore the area, and finally, the two had beat each other to a pulp, and tired as they were, they faced each other and gathered their remaning chakra and charged each other. Chidori and Rasengan met again, but Naruto gained the hand and Sasuke lost the battle. Using his pure will, Naruto carried Sasuke back to Konoha, where he alone was cheered on as a hero. But the losses totaled up to alot more.

Konoha had to rebuild, that wasn't as bad, but the death of Tsunade hit everyone, and many attended her funeral, including the Uchiha. Not surprisingly, Danzo was dead, as was the elders, but the village knew who they wanted for the three spots. But, they had to wait for him to come of right age, so as temporery Hokage, Kakashi took control of Konoha to help out. Years passed, and finally, Naruto was named the Hokage, and his teammates were now the council that helped him.



All was good, until three terrible things happened, and shook the world. First, Orochimaru came back at 100% power, and took over Otogakure again, and formed alliances with Iwagakure. Kirigakure was quick to react and joined a alliance with Suna and Konoha, but Kumogakure has not decided yet, as the Raikage has been not too happy at Naruto, for a unknown reason.

The second thing was that Akatsuki came back, but under 9 new people. Naruto was on high alert of this, but he knew they had a new statue and so they were going to go for the Bijuu again. He called for a formation of something that would cause a world wide movement of protection. He formed the Kokusai Monban, to act as the defense of villages and the bijuu. So far, the Kokusai Monban has kept the other 8 new jinchuricki safe.

The third thing is that Naruto's life span shortened because the use of Kyuubi is starting to come back. This news worried and had the most effect not only on Naruto, but Haruno Sakura, who loves Naruto and yet still has not said so. Naruto has spent some time meditating to talk with Kyuubi on how to stop the decreasing effects, but the few options don't look pretty.

And yet, the bonds between friends, lovers, and families is strong, despite all the recent events.
